Hello! I’m Curtis Huysamen, an experienced English and EAL tutor with over 14 years of international teaching and leadership experience across British, Australian (Victorian), South African, and US Common Core curricula. Based in the UAE, I specialize in helping students develop confidence and mastery in English reading, writing, speaking, and academic literacy, from primary through secondary levels.

With a background in Educational Leadership, English Language Learning (ELL/EAL), and Data-Driven Instruction, I’ve worked as Head of English, Head of ELL, and Key Stage Leader, guiding both students and teachers toward measurable growth in language proficiency. I hold certifications in School Inspection (ADEC/MOE) and have successfully implemented programs such as Talk for Writing, VIPERS Reading Strategies, RazKids, and Achieve3000 to enhance literacy outcomes.
