Dr. Zia

Hello Dear Students and Learning Enthusiasts,

I am Dr. Zia. I hold a PhD from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, and completed my postdoctoral research at Umeå University, Sweden, where I also served as a Visiting Scientist. I bring over 18 years of teaching and research experience at both college and university levels.

Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of courses in Biology and Health Sciences, developed several new curricula, and contributed to various university statutory bodies. My research spans multiple areas of the Life Sciences, and I have authored numerous research grants and published extensively in top-tier journals.
In addition to teaching, I also support graduate students in writing research proposals, guiding their research directions, and interpreting scientific data. I’m passionate about mentoring and helping students grow as researchers.
