I have many years of experience as a teacher. I have worked with various agencies, including Maritime trust and Qualiteach (who I am still associated with). I have also worked with other companies including Charlton Athletics and B Young Stars. At each of these organisations I took on rolls at schools, youth clubs, and summer camps, in which I assisted with various examinations, including year 2 and 6 SATs preparation, 11+ exams, and GCSEs

I centre my teaching around understanding content rather than mindlessly answering questions. Usually, I begin by assessing my students to determine their initial understanding and then using this level of knowledge to tailor their lessons. My final goal is to ensure full confidence in my students with all question types and subjects, allowing them to be able to answer whatever question comes their way. My lessons are for a range of age groups, including all key stages from 1-4 but I mostly teach key stages 3 and 4. In these age groups I specify in teaching maths, economics/business and sciences, including biology, chemistry, physics and sports science (which I can teach at a sixth form level). Typically, my lessons last either 60-120 minutes, however I prefer longer sessions as they ensure me to fully teach and individual topic thoroughly.
